Dominika is a documentary filmmaker who explores protagonists in existential situations, capturing their stories with empathy and simplicity, avoiding unnecessary drama even in tough situations.
In recent years, she has primarily been filming in Ukraine, but she also focuses on human rights, migration, and audiovisual anthropology. She is highly skilled in cinematography and editing.
After earning a law degree in Vienna and she courrenlty graduates in film directing at Academy of performing Arts in Bratislava. In addition to her independent film work, she freelances as an audiovisual consultant and creator for various international organizations and NGOs such as IOM, EURACTIV, European Migration Network.
